Are you currently working in procurement and have a really good understanding of tenders and contract negotiations. This role is open to procurement and contract specialists who may be working in a different industry but are keen to make the move to the energy sector. You may be working in a smaller to medium sized business and looking now to expand your wings.
As Procurement Business Partner, this opportunity will have involvement in a key project that will help improve and provide new energy solutions to local remote communities across WA.

Key Responsibilities
- In line with the project/business plan, source packages and implement supply contracts activities including complex contract negotiations, variations, reviews and disputes to effectively manage risk and ensure optimum benefits for the division.
- Evaluation of tenders and supplier bids including assessment of financials/price, technical capability, capacity, supply chain and logistics.
- Monitor spend, follow market trends and work closely with Contract Managers and Stakeholders to identify best suppliers to help deliver sustained value for the division.
- Consult and provide transparent regular updates to functional management and stakeholders on identified bottlenecks and proposed solutions.
- Maintain an accurate and efficient procurement workflow process that can be translated and presented to management and stakeholders using statistical data and PowerPoint presentations.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualified with formal qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field
- Experience in Procurement including the Tender Process, Contract Management and Negotiations, Supplier and Sourcing Management.
- Strong communication skills with ability to offer high level stakeholder management and negotiations internally and externally.
- Commercial and technical skills with a solid understanding of procurement frameworks.
- Highly conversant in MS Office and Procurement Software Systems i.e. SAP
- Solution focused with a proactive and innovative mindset.
- Available to work full-time with unrestricted full working rights in Australia
