Project Manager - 6 to 12 month contract - Kent - Outside IR35 - Monday to Friday

Hunter Philips are looking for an experienced Project Manager who has completed at least 2 projects. We are looking for someone who can start in the next 6 weeks but the sooner the better.

This person must have excellent interfacing skills with both the client and the customer. You must also be well seasoned when managing the project and with an understanding of HSE, budgeting and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the specific contact point between the customer and the site team
• Meeting with clients, stakeholders and project managers to report on project progress and resolve key topics
• Organise and coordinate with the existing site team and help them stay on task and to the project time lines
• Management of the project finances
• Ensuring the health and safety of the project teams
• Provide daily progress reports to both the customer and client
• Manage your own workload and act independently
• Read, understand and approve contracts
• Take responsibility for the delivery of a project
• Assist with the budgeting of the project
• Understand and implement work packages, basic budgets & basic HSE regulations

Experience/Requirements:

• Experience in the transmission and distribution desired but not essential
• Must have an engineering , production or maintenance background
• Must have completed a minimum of 2 projects
• Experience with project management
• Understanding of HSE regulations
• Understanding of work packages
• Understanding of basic budgeting
• Understanding of contracts
• You must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years

• Leadership skills whereby they can manage the team effectively

• Ability and experience interfacing with both customer and client

Logistics:

• Site based (Kent)
• Monday - Friday
• All inclusive day rate
• 6 – 12 month contract depending on the contractor and the projects progress
