Construction Manager

Construction Manager / Site Manager - Battery Energy Storage Project - Renewable Energy – Northern France – Initial 12 month Contract Position (Minimum)

Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee EPC contractors, ensure adherence to project timelines and act as the primary communication link between the Owner and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and project quality requirements through regular inspections and audits.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensure environmental compliance and manage incident response and investigations.
• Monitor the project budget and identify cost overruns
• Identify any potential project risks.
• Represent the Owner’s interests on site and manage relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
• Review and approve technical designs and provide problem-solving assistance to contractors.
• Oversee commissioning and testing, ensure smooth handover of the completed project to the operational team.

Skills And Experience:

• Minimum of 5+ years in Construction Management, with a proven tracker record of managing complex EPC projects
• Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders
• Clear understanding and knowledge of HSE
• Proficiency in quality control and compliance
• Effective progress tracking and reporting abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Logistics:

• Start Date: Start of December but can be brought forward depending on the candidates circumstances
• Employment Term: Minimum 12 month contract
