The Company:
Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing company within the renewable sector. Backed by substantial investment and poised for significant expansion, they aim to develop and operate 2+ GW of renewable energy capacity across Europe in the coming years.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and drive onshore renewable projects. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in civil engineering and a proven track record in managing onshore utility scale projects. You will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the clients renewable energy projects, ensuring they meet technical, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction for onshore renewable projects, including road and foundation construction, cable installation, and assembly of wind turbines.Experience in leading C-BoP & E-BoP is a must.Develop detailed technical plans, including descriptions of services, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), tender documentation, and invoicing procedures.Create comprehensive project schedules and maintain thorough project/construction documentation.Ensure high standards of quality and handle claims management effectively.Review and approve invoices from contractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.Obtain necessary authorisations for road, watercourse, and pipeline crossings, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.Provide on-site supervision and advisory services to ensure projects are executed as planned.Maintain strong relationships with national and international partners and clients, facilitating smooth project execution.
Your Profile:
Experience in managing civil construction projects within the renewable industry (Onshore).A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.Expertise in foundation engineering, soil mechanics, and reinforced concrete construction. Familiarity with geosynthetics in road/path construction is a plus.Understanding of VOB/A-C and relevant DIN regulations.Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, ORCA-AVA, and CAD software.Proficiency in English and German (C1) is required.Must be willing to travel as required and able to work from a home office.
