To provide 24/7 renewable energy solutions that power communities and businesses around the clock, without relying on fossil fuels.      Job Description: CGE is looking to recruit a highly motivated individual as a Senior Associate/AVP. You will be based in our Berlin office and are expected to lead transactions for new investment in renewable sector and support raising long term financing with banks for existing operational projects within CGE portfolio.      Essential Responsibilities      Source, support and evaluate new investment opportunities.          Develop and maintain relationship with banks and institutions in renewable sector.          Develop and maintain relationship with financial advisors, investment bankers.          Perform valuation analysis for projects and companies including financial models and projections.          Coordinate all diligence process for any new investment or financing.          Assist in creating internal approval documents and other supporting deal documentation.          Review operating and financial reports of project companies.           Qualifications / Requirements      2.1 or above in any bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or Economics.          Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.          Knowledge of the renewable energy sector          Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint          Fluent in English and German (written and oral)          Legal authorization to work, Germany.           Desired Characteristics      Ability to work as a part of a diverse team across multiple locations / time-zones.          Strong analytical skills ·          Familiarity with commercial, financial, loan and equity products.          Energy sector experience and good network within Industry in Germany.          Strong networking skills and ability to originate deals.          Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.           What We Offer:      The opportunity to join an innovative company with an exciting and fast-paced working environment.          Independent work within a small and nimble team.          A growing culturally diverse team, spread across multiple geographies.          To work on a wide variety of transactions, across technologies, sectors, and geographies.          The opportunity to tangibly contribute towards Europe’s energy transition targets and a zero-carbon economy.          Regular interactions with internal and external stakeholders, including advisors, developers, investors, and lenders.          A competitive salary package.
