Hello Katrin We are looking to identify, on behalf of a World leading renewables utility company emerging into the German market, an experienced Wind Senior Project Management professional. The real beauty of this - Be part of what feels like a start up however with the backing of a major and established player! In summary:
• Based in Bremen, Berlin, Frankfurt however with a Remote/Hybrid approach
• Contribute to the delivery of 3GW over the next 2 years with 7GW by 2030
• Be responsible for managing the project management of a portfolio of onshore wind projects from pre-construction management to commercial operation date.
• Progression to Project Director within 18 months I would like to go into more detail about who the company is, their vision, the role, the opportunity and the commercials over an introductory conversation. Engie Germany • The Engie group are a major developer, EPC and IPP who have invested heavily into renewable energy projects worldwide. They currently employ over 120,000 employees around the globe with 115.3 GW of installed capacity. 34.4GW of this capacity sits within their renewables portfolio with plans to grow this to 80GW by 2030 through projects including offshore wind, onshore wind, solar and hydro.
• Engie Germany is a subsidiary of the Engie group who, in their own right, generated 1.6B euros worth of sales in 2022.
• They currently operate 15 wind farms in the country with a total installed capacity of 300MW but they intend to grow their portfolio in Germany to 1GW by 2025 and adding a further 6 GW by 2030, taking their overall portfolio in the region to a very healthy 7G of renewables power.
• They have 2 onshore wind project currently under construction however, as a yearly target going forward, they have concrete plans to complete 6 onshore wind projects per year.
• The beauty of working for a company like Engie Germany is that they are relatively new to the German market and other markets around Europe therefore they can almost act as a start up in relation to agility and flexibility but also have the financial backing of a major corporate organisation so they are able to take risks that other startups in the market cannot.
