Solar PV Designer Region: Southern Germany
Location: Nurnberg (approx. 5 minutes' walk from the main railway station) INTEC is a leading provider of EPC services (engineering, procurement, construction) as well as operation and maintenance (O&M) of solar power plants. Based on German expertise in the planning and implementation of solar power plants, our specialised team works with our clients worldwide to use the energy generated to improve all areas of life. As an internationally operating company, we are looking for a Solar Designer for our solar power plants in Germany. Your Tasks: Creation of single-line diagrams for HV, MV and LV systems with one-and-a-half busbars, double busbars, etc. Selection and design of the entire configuration of the HV, MV and LV systems, taking into account relevant specifications and local and international standards for transformers, voltage transformers, surge arresters, etc. Technical analyses and calculations of power supply systems Short-circuit analysis, load flow analysis, earthing calculations, calculation of device dimensioning Protection and coordination study; relay coordination and selectivity, HV and MV relay protection (50/50N, 51/51N, 67/67N, 21/21N, 87L, 87T, 27 etc.), generator protection relay setting, review of international specific protection methods Calculations and reports of the HV & LV AC designs, selection of the auxiliary transformer, power transformer and other devices Calculation of DC & AC, LV, HV & MV AC systems, selection of suitable cable and conductor cross-sections Calculation of voltage drop, power losses, design of compensations etc. according to local and international standards and/or customer requirements Definition and processing of all components for release
Your Profile: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or comparable degree At least 3 years of experience in electrical planning, ideally in renewable energies Preparation of detailed design drawings, technical specifications and documentation for HS, MS and NS systems according to customer requirements, budgets and schedules Support with tenders in cooperation with the supply chain Preparation of the system architecture and creation of quantity and material lists Familiar with all codes and calculation methods Evaluation of technical proposals from suppliers and development of technical specifications and scopes of work for engineering firms and contractors Familiarity with relevant codes, calculations and design programmes (AutoCAD, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ETAP) Knowledge of SCADA and communication systems is an advantage Experience in 2D design programmes Very good written and spoken German and English as well as knowledge of MS Office Good planning, organisational and multitasking skills, team player and committed
