We are a leading company in the development of advanced wind turbines and energy storage systems, as well as software solutions that are capable of managing energy assets on a global scale. We are looking for an Energy Storage Solution in the UK. This role is a customer facing and it spans pre-sales, technical solutions, as well as inputs to product definition and strategy.      Key responsibilities: 1. Work with the Sales team for sales initiation, technical sales support and value engineering. 2. Analyse RFP documentation and asses project scope and risk. 3. Conduct technical presentations and provide clarifications to customers. 4. Understand, interpret, and relay customer requirements into BESS solution designs. 5. Liaise with internal teams to prepare accurate costing and financial analysis for tender submission. 6. Review and submit technical tender response bundles within deadlines to clients. 7. Follow up and analyse previous tender submissions to understand outcome/result. 8. Ensure all opportunities, client and account details updated on CRM platform 9. Understand and keep up with storage market requirements and trends. 10. Understand regional energy markets and associated revenue streams for storage systems. 11. Study competitive landscape for ongoing product development. 12. Use your own initiative and learnings to influence product development as it pertains to your customers’ needs. 13. Collaborate with customers and commercial teams to negotiate and finalise contracts. 14. Create tools and process in collaboration with global colleagues to improve tender response efficiency and speed.      Qualification and expertise: 1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Energy Engineering 2. Fluency in business and technical English 3. 5+ years of experience in relevant field, preferably incl. experience working for a DNO or TSO 4. Working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion systems, PPC/EMS/SCADA and grid connection processes for jurisdictions under your management (UK or relevant regions in Europe) 5. Familiarity with grid operator processes 6. Solid understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for BESS systems 7. Experience in designing, engineering, and optimizing utility-scale energy storage systems 8. Ability to size the Power Converter System (PCS) and battery system 9. Familiarity with design concepts related to short circuit protection, conductor sizing, thermal systems, safety systems, etc. 10. Working efficiently in a multi-cultural, transitional multi-stakeholder environment 11. Any additional European languages (esp.
