Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering and Technology Director to lead our engineering and technology initiatives. This role is pivotal in advancing our offshore wind projects, ensuring the integration of cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the engineering and technology teams, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies for offshore wind projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry standards.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of engineering projects, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, environmental, and regulatory compliance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the offshore wind sector, and evaluate their potential application within the company.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, research institutions, and industry organizations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field); a Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior engineering role within the renewable energy sector, specifically offshore wind.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and technology integration.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of driving successful engineering teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements.

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
