Responsibilities include: Acting as the 400kV Senior Authorised Person for site operations. Managing High Voltage safety documentation, permits and switching activities. Supporting the installation and future commissioning of HV infrastructure. Ensuring all works comply with National Grid Safety Rules and site procedures. Reviewing contractor documentation and ensuring works are ready before authorisation. Working closely with construction, engineering and project management teams. Providing technical guidance on HV safety and operational compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Current or recent 400kV Senior Authorised Person authorisation. Strong knowledge of National Grid Safety Rules. Experience working on transmission, substation or HVDC projects. Comfortable working within large EPC or principal contractor environments.
