Senior Legal Counsel - Renewables - The Netherlands - €Excellent + Career Progression

The Company:

A fast-growing International IPP, and developer, dedicated to accelerating the energy transition to a zero-carbon economy . Using the latest energy technology, they upgrade and repower existing renewable energy farms to increase electricity production and deploy state-of-the-art solutions in battery storage and hydrogen to bridge the demand-supply gap and address electricity intermittency.

The Role:

Legal Counsel based in Berlin to work with Investments and Portfolio teams. A hands-on in-house role driving the entire life cycle of projects from evaluating and acquiring projects, to development , construction and operation of projects.

The Successful candidate will likely have:

  • Maximum 3 years post qualifying experience in the renewable energy sector in Germany, whether in-house at a leading energy company or in a tier 1 transactional practice area.
  • Proven track record of significant contribution to the successful completion of numerous transactions or projects.
  • Fluency in German and English (written and oral).
  • Provision of legal support in relation to your renewable projects in Germany from evaluation and acquisition through to construction and operations and across a variety of legal practice areas covering the entire project life cycle; M&A, finance, commercial contracts, public law, regulatory, disputes etc.
  • Reviewing and negotiating a range of project/commercials contracts, including power purchase agreements, land lease agreements, consultancy agreements, joint venture agreements and financing agreements.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders through provision of a high level of service and prompt, practical and commercially focussed advice.
  • Advising on company law, corporate governance, and legal compliance activities for our entities in Germany.
  • Advising on a wide range of legal matters affecting the business operations in Germany.

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
