The Company

As the portfolio expands so does their ambition to achieve 20%+ year-on-year growth. As part of ongoing investment into focus markets their attention is on their Renewable Energy portfolio in Korea, they are looking to secure a Managing Director to oversee the Development, Financing, Construction through to Operational Management of their Offshore Wind Projects.

 

The Role:

As Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the group’s Development, Financing, Construction through to Operational Management of Utility Scale Offshore Renewable Energy projects. Some duties will include:

· Be the driving force behind Origination and acquisition of a pipeline of a large portfolio of projects

· Develop & execute 3 to 5 year strategy

· Recruit, lead and manage team for future success

· Manage/ Project Manage the cross functional team (due diligence, finance, H&S, legal), plus external financial advisors

· Lead & establish relationships with land owners, municipals, project developers and financial institutions across the region

· Solve problems and find inventive ways to ensure success of projects

· Take a leading role in commercial negotiations

· Report results to the Global board

 

The Person:

The successful candidate will likely have:

· Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Law

· 3+ years’ experience in Project Development, Construction and Operation of Offshore Wind projects

· A strong ability to operate at all levels, right up to Board Level management

· A strong network of land owners, developers, brokers, and financial institutions

· A strong commercial knowledge risk management and contractual negotiations, PPA are advantageous

· Understand project financing

· Be able to solve complex problems, Engage, Lead, motivate and inspire teams to success

· Speaks English

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
