The Opportunity

Our client are seeking a dynamic VP of Sales to lead the European sales strategy, build and manage high-performing sales teams, and drive revenue growth across key markets. Reporting to the board, this role will be instrumental in establishing strong customer relationships, closing high-value contracts, and shaping the company’s market positioning in the utility-scale segment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the European sales strategy, with a focus on utility-scale BESS projects.
  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders including utilities, IPPs, developers, and grid operators.
  • Lead and expand the sales team across priority markets.
  • Drive end-to-end sales processes including tendering, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, legal, and finance teams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

 

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in complex technical sales, ideally within energy storage, renewables, or power systems.
  • Deep understanding of the European energy market and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven track record of closing large-scale infrastructure or energy deals (multi-million €).
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing international sales teams.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages (e.g. German, Spanish, French, or Italian) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as needed.

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
