Onshore/Offshore Wind ISP

Location: Flexible within Europe / Hybrid

Package: Executive-Level (Base + Bonus + Equity / LTIP Potential)

An independent and rapidly scaling service provider to the wind energy industry is seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead its next phase of growth.

Over the past five years, the company has built a strong reputation across Europe for delivering high-quality, flexible service packages to both onshore and offshore wind assets, working with major developers, asset owners, and OEMs.

Now turning over €400 million annually, the business is well positioned to scale further—and needs a commercially astute leader to unlock new market opportunities, drive sustainable growth, and solidify its position as a tier-one ISP in the global wind sector.

The Role:

As Chief Commercial Officer, you will take full ownership of the company’s commercial strategy and revenue functions. This includes leadership of sales, marketing, key account management, tendering, and product development across all service lines and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a clear commercial growth strategy across Europe and selected international markets.
  • Lead and evolve the company’s offering of tailored service packages for onshore and offshore wind—including scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofits, blade services, and digital solutions.
  • Deepen relationships with developers, OEMs, and asset owners to secure long-term service contracts and framework agreements.
  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams, geographic expansion opportunities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Optimise pricing, bidding, and commercial processes to improve margins and competitiveness.
  • Build, lead, and scale a high-performing commercial organisation across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Collaborate with the board to align commercial goals with operational capabilities and strategic direction.
  • Represent the business at industry forums, events, and in key customer negotiations.

Candidate Profile:

  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in the wind sector (OEM, ISP, developer, or asset owner), including P&L responsibility.
  • Strong track record of driving commercial growth, particularly in service, O&M, and aftermarket offerings.
  • In-depth knowledge of the commercial dynamics of both onshore and offshore wind markets.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills and experience negotiating complex, multi-million-euro service contracts.
  • Entrepreneurial, strategic thinker who is also hands-on and delivery-oriented.
  • Experienced in managing commercial teams across multiple regions and functional areas.

Why Join?

  • Join a financially solid, high-reputation ISP with a clear growth trajectory.
  • Influence the strategic direction of a €400M business positioned for significant expansion.
  • Lead a European commercial function with freedom to innovate and drive impact.
  • Work with a leadership team that values agility, trust, and long-term value creation.
  • Competitive compensation with executive incentives and potential equity participation
