The Company

A highly successful investor, developer, and IPP of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Further expansion within a number of markets has created the opportunity for a COO in Germany in order to drive the growth of the organisation and ensure the successful delivery & operation of their ambitious but achievable pipeline of utility-scale renewables projects.

 

The Role

The role will be to construct and operate their large portfolio of Utility Scale renewables, hydrogen, and battery storage projects whilst supporting the significant growth of their greenfield and M&A pipeline.

 

 

Some duties would include:

  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Develop and execute 3-5 year strategy, to accelerate the Construction and Operation of the pipeline
  • Oversee the Construction of a large pipeline of ready-to-build and greenfield Utility Scale renewables projects
  • Ensure success in areas such as PPAs, Construction, and Operations
  • Develop processes, tools, and best practices for effective project management, and for interfacing across all internal and external stakeholders
  • Structure & undertake board-level responsibilities in SPVs
  • Build and lead a high-performing team in Germany
  • Lead & establish relationships with EPCs, OEMs, project developers, financial institutions, investors, governments, and major offtakers across the region
  • Take a leading role in commercial negotiations and lobbying
  • Attractive LTIP opportunity and progression to regional CEO within 5 years

Essential Requirements

In order to be suitable for this role it is essential that you are a strong fit for the following criteria

  • 3+ years in a leadership position with a renewables company
  • Demonstrated experience in the construction of Utility Scale renewables
  • Experience in the Construction and Operations of Utility Scale renewables
  • Battery Storage experience is highly attractive
  • Strong commercial knowledge and financial acumen
  • Speak professional-level English, professional level German is also highly attractive

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
