Head of Asset Management – Solar – Europe - €Excellent + Benefits Package

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Head of Asset Management to oversee the efficient management and optimization of our extensive energy portfolio.

 

As the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for maximizing the financial performance and operational efficiency of European Solar Assets, ensuring their long-term sustainability and profitability.

 

You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance asset value, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented team and make a significant impact in the renewable energy industry in a market leading business.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the asset management team, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and effective asset management practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the financial and operational performance of solar assets, analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimize asset performance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project development, engineering, finance, and legal teams, to ensure smooth project handovers and efficient collaboration throughout the asset lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including asset management service providers, vendors, and investors, to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and maximise asset value.
  • Implement robust risk management strategies, including identifying and mitigating potential risks, monitoring insurance coverage, and developing contingency plans to safeguard asset performance and minimise financial and operational risks.
  • Manage annual operating budgets, forecasting revenue and expenses, and monitoring financial performance against targets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance asset performance, reduce costs, and optimize operational processes.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the solar energy industry, and provide strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information on asset performance, financial metrics, and key operational insights.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in asset management within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of solar asset lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Sound financial acumen and the ability to develop and manage budgets, analyse financial statements, and drive financial performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to solar asset management.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
