Senior Asset Manager – Renewable Energy - Italy

 

A top-tier renewable energy developer and operator with a strong global footprint. With several gigawatts of assets either operating or under construction, the company is at the forefront of the clean energy transition and committed to sustainability, innovation, and local partnerships. Now under new ownership by a major global infrastructure investor, they’re entering an exciting new growth phase.

 

You’ll play a critical role in maximising the value and performance of these assets, working closely with technical, financial, and stakeholder teams to ensure long-term operational success.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple energy assets across Italy (travel required).
  • Maximise asset production, uptime, and revenue performance.
  • Monitor KPIs and plant performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Track and report losses, deviations from budget, and propose corrective actions.
  • Manage and supervise O&M contractors and external consultants.
  • Ensure contractual compliance across all operational areas.
  • Coordinate between solar and agricultural activities on agrivoltaic sites.
  • Oversee stakeholder relationships: utilities, contractors, landowners, local authorities, and lenders.
  • Prepare and manage O&M budgets and forecasts.
  • Support insurance and claims processes where required.
  • Assist in planning and contract negotiations for future O&M projects.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, civil, or environmental)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in renewable energy asset management, ideally in solar
  • Strong knowledge of energy plant systems, high-voltage infrastructure, and trackers
  • Contract management experience and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of HSE requirements and risk management
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and CMMS tools
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Italy (Italian driving license required)

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
