A leading IPP with a rapidly growing BESS portfolio in Germany, is looking for a hands-on BESS Technischer Betriebsführung (m/w/d) to lead the technical operation of utility-scale energy storage systems.

 

Your Role

As the Technical Operations Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations of BESS projects across Germany. You will serve as the critical link between the asset owner, service partners and the OEM systems, ensuring optimal performance throughout the full lifecycle of the assets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor BESS projects with a focus on loading/de-loading cycles and system health
  • Work closely with OEM platforms and interfaces to ensure peak performance
  • Manage operational data, analyze trends, and generate performance reports
  • Ensure compliance with all technical and regulatory requirements
  • Lead fault diagnostics, troubleshooting, and liaise with OEMs for resolution
  • Maintain technical documentation and support O&M planning
  • Act as a long-term technical steward of the assets

 

Your Profile

  • Technical background (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, Mechatronics)
  • Experience working for or with OEMs in the BESS, battery, or renewable energy sector
  • Proven hands-on knowledge of energy storage systems and their operational profiles
  • Familiarity with BESS operational data, control systems, and performance KPIs
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Fluent in German and English

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
