The Role

As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will join the senior leadership team and report directly to/working alongside the CEO. You will take strategic and operational ownership of the company’s development, construction, and asset management functions across our solar, wind, and BESS portfolio. This is a pivotal role, requiring strong leadership, a commercial mindset, and deep sector expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale the operational teams across project development, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and O&M.
  • Drive operational excellence and standardisation across all business units and project types.
  • Oversee project delivery from late-stage development through to COD and into operations.
  • Optimize project performance, lifecycle value, and risk mitigation strategies across the asset base.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and CEO to align operational delivery with strategic investment and growth plans.
  • Ensure robust compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
  • Support strategic partnerships, M&A integration, and market entry initiatives across Europe.

 

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven track record as COO or senior operations executive in the renewable energy or energy infrastructure space.
  • Deep knowledge of solar, wind, and BESS technologies, and the IPP business model.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-country teams and complex infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial, regulatory, and technical landscape in European renewables.
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English & German.
