Senior Project Development Manager - Germany Background to the RoleAn international renewable energy company is currently expanding its German development platform and is seeking a Senior Project Development Manager to support the growth of solar and BESS projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSteering solar and BESS projects through the development phases up to Final Investment Decision (FID)Managing relationships with co-development partners and external stakeholdersCoordinating internal teams including technical, permitting, legal, and investment departmentsSupporting the development of hybrid PV + BESS projectsManaging complex permitting processes and ensuring projects remain on scheduleRepresenting the company in discussions with municipalities, local authorities, and development partnersKey requirements include:Strong experience in renewable energy project development in GermanyProven ability to manage projects through permitting and towards FIDExperience working with co-development partnerships or external development partnersStrong project management and stakeholder management skillsSolid understanding of solar PV and battery storage technologiesAbility to operate in a lean and entrepreneurial environmentsummer.mee@hunterphilips.com+49 89 37049995
