About the Company - Our client is a global provider of innovative and sustainable battery storage solutions for automotive and industrial applications. Their energy technology continually is evolving and developing, creating stationary energy storage batteries, from backup power through to large-scale energy storage systems (BESS).
About the Role - As Technical Project Manager, your remit will be to provide technically focused consultation to customers from conception to execution on a project. You will also provide aftersales support relating technical specifications and regulations.
Location - Based in the Hesse region of Germany, you will be required to attend the office on a regular basis, as well as regular visits to the Netherlands. The role can be worked in a hybrid capacity with the preferred candidate located ideally in Cologne, Dusseldorf or Essen region.
Responsibilities will include:
- Act as the key contact with customers, from the initial enquiry through to execution on a project.
- Provide full technical support including project specifications.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, engineering and suppliers.
- Manage the project timelines and project processes against budgets and project deadlines.
- Keep accurate reports of project documentation.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent technical training
- 5 years plus experience in a Technical Project Management capacity in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects.
- Good understanding of electrical/power systems - AC/DC, LV/MV, Switchgear knowledge.
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Holds a valid EU driving license
