Site Manager – 132kv High Voltage Substation– Renewable Energy – Southwest of England – 4 Month Contract Are you an experienced Site Manager with a proven track record of delivering high voltage substation projects? If so, please read below. We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of a 132kV high voltage substation connected to a 50MW Solar Farm. Employed by the Principal Contractor, you will play a critical role in managing site activities during the final stages of the project, focusing on the electrical installation and commissioning of high voltage equipment. This is a full-time, site-based role that requires a professional with strong electrical knowledge and experience in similar projects. While formal qualifications are not required, a proven track record of managing high voltage electrical installations is essential. Role & Responsibilities:Act as the on-site representative of the Principal Contractor, ensuring all activities are executed safely, efficiently and in compliance with project specifications.Oversee and coordinate the activities of subcontractors and internal staff involved in electrical installation and commissioning.Monitor progress against project timelines, identifying and addressing any risks to the schedule or quality standards.Supervise the installation and commissioning of key high voltage equipment, including but not limited to transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, and cable pulling.Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and environmental standards on-site.Maintain clear communication with the project team, subcontractors and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and challenges.Ensure all required documentation related to site activities, testing and commissioning is completed accurately and on time. Skills And Experience:Minimum of 5+ years in Site Management, with a proven tracker record of managing complex projects.Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications.Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.Clear understanding and knowledge of HSE.Experience in managing high voltage substation construction, specifically electrical installations and commissioning activities. Site Supervisor (Civils) – Solar PV – Renewable Energy – Republic of Ireland – 9 Month ContractAre you an experienced Site Supervisor with prior experience of delivering Solar PV projects? If so, please read below.As the Civils Site Supervisor, you will have full responsibility for supervising the construction of roads, drainage systems and foundations, ensuring adherence to engineering standards.Role & Responsibilities:Supervise and manage on-site construction activities.Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.Manage site preparation activities.Oversee the installation of drainage systems to prevent water accumulation and erosion.Ensure the stability and durability of foundations through understand all specifications of design and construction practices.Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.Report to Site ManagerSkills And Experience:Extensive experience in civil supervision, with a focus on roads, drainage and foundations.In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction practices.Strong project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.Relevant certifications in civil engineering or related fields.Fluency in English for all written and verbal communications.Effective verbal and written communication skills, being able to convey technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.Logistics:Start Date: ASAPEmployment Term: 9 month contractWorking Arrangement: 100% site based

Senior Authorised Person / HV Specialist – 6 - 12 month contract –– All inclusive day rate, outside IR35 – Distribution – ASAP start – MidlandsHunter Philips are looking for an 11kV Senior Authorised Person with authorisations working on a DNO & OHLs. You will be responsible for Safety from the System and managing outages on the 11kV networks Key Responsibilities:·       Project managing and planning the tree outages where the trees have come into contact with the power lines.·       Working on the LV networks up to 11kV. ·       Resolving clearance issues on LV and HV.·       Adhering to safety regulations ensuring supply, quality and continuity.·       Always ensuring Safety from the System.·       Prepare and implement switching schedules up to and on the 11kV networks.·       Issue Limitation of Access documents to regulate and restrict entry to high-risk areas when necessary.·       Carrying out isolation and instructing the contractors to make sure the works are complete.·       Manage safety documentation and permits effectively and in compliance with requirements.·       Managing the faults on the 11kV networks Experience & requirements: ·       Experience working on OHL for a minimum of 2 years ·       Current DNO authorisations (Candidates whose DNO certs have expired within a 12 month period will be considered)·       11kV SAP authorisation (33Kv SAP authorisations would be beneficial) ·       Full UK clean driving licence ·       Must be able to travel and potentially stay away from homeLogistics: ·       6 - 12 months rolling·       All inclusive day rate, outside IR35 ·       ASAP start date ·       Monday to Friday (overtime and weekend work available)If you are interested and meet the requirements then please send your CV to josie.wade@hunterphilips.com and get a call booked in with me.
