Aftersales Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (C&I)

Germany: DACH Travel Required

An established and growing organisation within the battery energy storage sector is seeking to appoint an Aftersales Manager to support its Commercial & Industrial (C&I) portfolio across the DACH region.

This position reports directly into senior leadership and carries responsibility for the technical resolution of aftersales cases, ensuring systems operate reliably and efficiently in live environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of complex aftersales cases from a technical perspective
  • Diagnose and resolve faults across installed BESS systems
  • Support commissioning activities, repairs and system optimisation
  • Provide technical training and guidance to customers and partners
  • Act as the escalation point for technically complex service issues
  • Work closely with internal teams responsible for case coordination and administration

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical competence and the ability to operate independently in a field-based environment.

Key requirements include:

  • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (degree or technician level)
  • Proven experience within battery energy storage systems or closely related electrical/power applications
  • Strong understanding of electrical components, controls and diagnostic processes
  • Ability to identify and resolve technical issues without reliance on escalation
  • Experience supporting commissioning, maintenance or field service activities
  • Willingness to travel across the DACH region

This role requires a practical, solution-oriented individual with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.

Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a business operating at the forefront of the energy transition, with a growing presence in the C&I storage market. The role offers direct exposure to senior leadership and the ability to contribute to the ongoing development of aftersales capability within the organisation.
