400kV Senior Authorised Person - 12-Month Contract - Monday-Friday - Outside IR35 - Day Rate outside IR35 

I'm currently supporting a leading organisation within the UK transmission sector that is looking for an experienced 400kV Senior Authorised Person on an initial 12 month contract.

 

The Role: 

  • Preparing, issuing and cancelling Safety Documents & permits.
  • Undertaking Senior Authorised Person duties.
  • Acting as Control Person.
  • Writing, reviewing and approving RAMS.
  • Setting staff and contractors to work safely.
  • Training and mentoring new members of the team.
  • Supporting a planned out of hours on call rota.
  • Providing SAP support across multiple high voltage sites when required.
  • Assisting with the development and continual improvement of isolation procedures and operational standards.

 

Requirements: 

  • Current or recent 400kV Senior Authorised Person authorisation.
  • Strong operational experience within the UK transmission network.
  • Excellent knowledge of HV safety rules and switching procedures.
  • Experience reviewing and approving RAMS.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to lead teams and maintain the highest safety standards.

  • Monday to Friday
  • Outside IR35

This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of the integrated project schedule for a major offshore wind farm.
