A leading international renewable energy organisation operating across large-scale wind energy projects throughout Europe.

The organisation is involved across the full project lifecycle – from development and construction through to long-term operations and asset optimisation – with a strong focus on delivering complex infrastructure projects in a highly regulated, multinational environment.

The business continues to expand its European project pipeline, driving demand for experienced contract professionals who can operate at the intersection of commercial delivery, legal risk, and project execution.


The Role : This position sits within the project execution function and acts as a key contractual control point across wind farm construction projects.

Key responsibilities include

  • Managing all contractual and commercial matters during the construction and execution phase of wind projects
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for contract interpretation across internal project teams.
  • Managing claims, variations, extensions of time, and change events with contractors and suppliers.:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and issuing contractual notices and formal correspondence.
  • Supporting negotiation and resolution of disputes and commercial disagreements.
  • Identifying contractual and commercial risks and supporting mitigation strategies across live projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal governance, reporting, and contract management frameworks.
  • Working closely with legal, procurement, finance, engineering, and project delivery teams.
  • Supporting structured contract documentation and audit readiness across projects.


The Person: The ideal candidate will bring strong experience within complex construction or energy project environments, with a clear understanding of contractual risk and project delivery dynamics.

Key requirements:

  • 5–10 years’ experience in contract management, commercial management, or project contracts within infrastructure, construction, or energy.
  • Strong exposure to EPC/ EPCI/ FIDIC-based contracts
  • Proven experience handling claims, variations, and contractual change management.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance risk and project delivery priorities.
  • Experience working in large, matrixed, international organisations.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Degree in Law, Business, Engineering, or similar discipline preferred.
  • Fluent English required; additional European language (particularly German) advantageous.
