Hunter Philips Executive Search is partnering with a leading international renewable energy developer to appoint a Legal Counsel to support the continued growth of its German business.

Working alongside the Development team, you will provide legal support across utility-scale wind, solar PV, BESS and hybrid energy projects throughout the full project lifecycle.


The Role:

  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts including land agreements, EPC, service and cooperation agreements.
  • Advise project teams on permitting, planning and renewable energy legislation.
  • Support project acquisitions, disposals and legal due diligence.
  • Assist with project finance transactions and corporate matters.
  • Draft joint venture agreements, shareholder resolutions and corporate documentation.
  • Provide commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders throughout project development.

The Person:

  • Fully qualified German Lawyer (2nd State Examination).
  • 5+ years' legal experience.
  • Knowledge of project development, permitting and corporate law.
  • Fluent German and English.
  • Experience within renewable energy, infrastructure or a leading commercial law firm.
  • Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Long-term career development within a growing international business.
