We are supporting a well-established international engineering and service provider within the wind energy sector in the search for a Head of Sales to lead commercial activity across Europe and APAC.

 

This is a senior leadership position focused on driving growth across both onshore and offshore wind markets, with approximately 60% of the business centred around onshore wind and 40% offshore. The organisation already has a strong reputation within the market, an established customer base and long-term framework agreements in place, but is looking for someone capable of taking the commercial function to the next level.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop sales strategy across Europe and APAC within the wind energy sector
• Drive growth across service, maintenance, inspection, installation and engineering solutions
• Manage and develop strategic relationships with utilities, developers, OEMs, operators and tier-one contractors
• Build and mentor an international commercial team across multiple regions
• Identify new market opportunities across both mature and emerging wind markets
• Lead high-value commercial negotiations, tenders and framework agreements
• Work closely with operational and technical teams to align commercial delivery with customer expectations
• Support expansion into new customers, regions and service offerings
• Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management and commercial reporting to senior leadership

 

Candidate Profile

• 5+ years’ experience within wind energy, renewable energy services or engineering-led solutions
• Strong commercial leadership experience across Europe, ideally with additional exposure to APAC markets
• Background within an ISP, OEM, EPC or service-driven engineering organisation
• Strong understanding of both onshore and offshore wind project environments
• Proven track record winning and managing complex, high-value agreements internationally
• Experience leading distributed or international sales teams
• Comfortable operating strategically whilst remaining close to customers and deals
• Strong network across utilities, developers, asset owners and wider wind market stakeholders
• Degree qualified within Engineering, Business or a related discipline preferred
