They are also recruiting similar roles for other locations in major cities in Australia.The OpportunityThis is a great opportunity to join a team of specialist engineers who provide technical solutions and expertise to multiple clients across a range of projects in Australia across the power and energy industry.As an expert in Power System Engineering, we are looking for individuals who can confidently present outstanding results and outcomes to clients. Using innovation and initiative, you will be able to articulate complex material and translate the results to your clients with confidence. Your deep technical knowledge means you can manage multiple projects at varying phases,.Responsibilities will also include:Providing support to multiple power projects being delivered across Australia.Performing analytical studies using PSS Sincal, DigSilent, PowerFactory, PSS/E and other power system analysis software in the areas of network planning, protection and distributed generator interconnection.Developing power system models for connection of the generators, loads, and BESS and configure them to align with the local and national regulations.Define and present plan, budgets and risks to clientsProvide technical support to the sales team in order to enhance their knowledge and ability to articulate to clientsGenerating models, studies and reports for network services providers, including the likes of AEMO and developers etc.Supporting project managers and bid coordinators to prepare successful proposals for winning new workEssential Qualifications and ExperienceYou hold a degree in Electrical EngineeringYou have demonstrated experience of working as an expert in power system analysis in grid connection, generation, transmission and distribution systems in Australia.You are highly proficient and an advanced user of power system software - i.e. PSS Sincal, PSS/E, DigSILENT, Python, PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD and other power system software.You have Project Management experience with a commitment for providing excellent customer service across multiple projects.Knowledge and experience with planning and connection studies, including load flow and fault analysis.You show high attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skillsYou have excellent communication skills and can present verbally or written, detailed, solution focused results to clients with successful deliverables.You thrive when able to use innovation, initiative and inquisitiveness, in order to provide positive outcomes for clients.Why join?You will be joining a highly successful organisation that is growing at a healthy, sustainable rate. They are also recruiting similar roles for other locations in major cities in Australia.The OpportunityThis is a great opportunity to join a team of specialist engineers who provide technical solutions and expertise to multiple clients across a range of projects in Australia across the power and energy industry.The Role:Lead the delivery of grid connections for all renewable projectsManage end‑to‑end grid connection submissions, negotiations, including engagement with stakeholders such as AEMO, and other relevant parties.Be the technical expert relating to all design, authorisation, and execution maters for the substation and connection of renewables plants to the gridProvide expert advice and support team members on grid connection & potential risks to project feasibilityReview electrical system designs against grid code and supervise the delivery work of 3rd party contractors and consultants associated to HV substations and Balance of PlantCollaborate on Grid Connection applications & negotiation of conditions with network operatorsManage risk and problems arising with the Grid ConnectionThe Person:The successful candidate will likely have:Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or similarExtensive and expertise as a Grid Professional in Utility Scale Projects with a strong focus on successful delivery.Understand utility Grid Code, AEMO and have relationships with Transmission & Distribution operatorsHave expert technical knowledge with the ability to support team members and influence technical discussions.Strong commercial skills with experience of contract negotiations and managing risk factors.Be able to solve complex problems, engage, lead, motivate and inspire teams to success.Excellent communication skills with strong technical knowledge and influencing skills with varying stakeholders.Have a valid visa to live and work in Australia.We are also looking for experienced Grid Connection Engineers with expertise in power systems studies, grid connections, and renewable energy projects. You will work very closely with key stakeholders including developers, Network Service Providers, OEM's and other stakeholders in order to deliver high-quality technical solutions. can confidently present outstanding results and outcomes to clients.
