Head of Power Systems – USA

United States (Remote)


A multinational engineering and consulting group with a strong global reputation in power systems is expanding its Power System Studies capability across North America. To lead this, the business is appointing a Head of Power Systems for the USA, with responsibility for building and scaling the national platform.


This is a genuine growth mandate, backed by an established international engineering team and recognised technical capability.


The Role

Reporting into senior leadership overseas, the Head of Power Systems – USA will own the US Power System Studies business end to end. You will define the market strategy, develop key client relationships, and convert demand into sustainable growth, while working closely with global delivery teams to ensure high-quality execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set and deliver the US strategy for Power System Studies.
  • Win and develop senior client relationships across utilities, developers, EPCs and OEMs.
  • Lead market entry and expansion, including partnerships and priority regions.
  • Build the US team over time, supported by an established international delivery platform.
  • Oversee proposals, pricing and contract negotiations.
  • Act as the senior interface between clients and engineering teams.


Profile Sought

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Strong background in power system studies, grid integration or power systems consulting.
  • Proven ability to win work and grow a business line.
  • Established US market network.
  • Commercial, entrepreneurial and comfortable owning outcomes.
