66kV HV Authorised Person – Long Term Contract – USA – Offshore Wind – RotationalI’m working with a major contractor supporting the construction and commissioning of a large scale offshore wind development. The project requires HV Authorised Persons to support the installation, commissioning and energisation of the 66kV offshore electrical systems. Funding has been approved for all positions.The role will involve:Acting as an HV Authorised Person across the project’s 66kV systems and wind turbine generators.Supporting offshore installation and commissioning activities.Carrying out HV switching, isolations and LOTO.Issuing and cancelling PTWs, LOAs and associated safety documentation.Coordinating activities with the Lead SAPs, control room and commissioning teams.Supporting energisation of the offshore substation, inter-array cables and turbine strings.Working in accordance with the project’s HV safety rules.Supporting the safe coordination of multiple electrical feeds.Experience required:Previous experience as an HV Authorised Person.Strong practical knowledge of HV switching, isolations and safe systems of work.Experience with LOTO, PTW and LOA procedures.Current GWO certification.Offshore wind experience is preferred but not essential.Candidates with a strong onshore HV background will also be considered.Applicants must be US citizens.Contract details:Corp to Corp contract.Rotational working pattern.A 4/4 rotation or flexible rotations of between three and six weeks can be accommodated.Working alongside an international team from the USA and Europe.If you are interested in the role and are a US citerzen then please send your CV to josie.wade@hunterphilips.com and book in a call with me.

With a growing portfolio of energy infrastructure projects, the business is looking for someone who can take ownership of increasingly complex tax matters across its investments, transactions and international activities.
