Electrical Superintendent - Utility Scale BESS Project - Liège, Belgium - €Excellent Day Rate - 12 Month Contract - Immediate/ASAP Start Date - Monday to Friday (10 Hour Days) + Potential/Optional Weekend WorkWe are supporting a leading international energy technology provider on the delivery of a 50MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Belgium.Due to an urgent requirement on site, we are looking to engage an experienced Electrical Superintendent to take ownership of electrical works across both installation and commissioning phases.Role Overview:This is a site-based role requiring a hands-on electrical lead who can manage subcontractors, advise on electrical installation to ensure high quality, and support the transition into commissioning. You will act as the Project Managers 2IC on-site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.Responsibilities:Advise on and coordinate all electrical installation activities (MV/LV systems, cabling, terminations)Manage electrical subcontractors and daily site operationsEnsure compliance with HSE standards and local regulationsReview drawings, method statements, and technical documentationSupport testing, energisation, and commissioning activitiesInterface with engineering and commissioning teamsTrack progress and escalate risks/issues to project leadershipRequirements:5+ years' experience as an Electrical Superintendent, Electrical Supervisor, Electrical Advisor, Electrical Project Manager or a similar electrical roleStrong background in either BESS, Solar PV, Wind Farm, Substations (Power T&D), Power Generation or Oil & Gas projectsExperience covering both electrical installation and commissioning phasesStrong subcontractor management experienceProfessional/fluent French language skillsBased locally in BelgiumInterested? 400kV SAP – Offshore Wind Project - ASAP start - Monday to Friday - Day rate, outside IR35 We’re supporting a major offshore wind project currently in the construction phase and are looking for an experienced 400kV Senior Authorised Person to support safe delivery of HV works. 220kV SAPs will be considered This role will focus on managing safe access, coordinating HV interfaces, and supporting early-stage energisation readiness across onshore and offshore assets. Responsibilities: Act as 400kV SAP under project safety rules Prepare, issue, and cancel Safety Documents (PTW, Sanctions, LOA) Manage safe access to HV systems during construction activities Review and approve switching schedules aligned with construction works Interface with TSO, DNO, OFTO, EPC contractors, and site teams Support construction, installation, and pre-commissioning activities Ensure compliance with all HV safety rules and procedures Requirements Proven experience as a 400kV SAP within construction environments Strong background in HV substations / transmission infrastructure Experience working alongside EPC contractors and site teams Familiarity with National Grid or equivalent safety rules Ability to support both onshore and offshore scopes Logistics Day rate, outside IR35 ASAP start Monday to Friday 12 month contract (high chance of extensions) If you’re interested and a competent 220kV/400kV SAP then please send your CV to josie.wade@hunterphilips.com
