66kV SAP – Offshore Wind – 2/2 rotation – ASAP start – Day rate, outside IR35 – 6 month initial contract (likely extension)


I’m looking for experienced 66kV Senior Authorised Persons to support works on a wind farm in the UK in construction. You will be supporting offshore wind farm assets during ongoing operations.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and promote the highest standards of health & safety
  • Prepare, issue and cancel safety documentation
  • Develop and implement switching schedules
  • Perform switching, isolation and earthing duties
  • Carry out HV operations in line with site procedures
  • Support maintenance and operational activities across the wind farm
  • Liaise with site teams and key stakeholders


Requirements:

  • 66kV multi-feed SAP
  • Strong operational experience on HV systems
  • Ability to work within offshore rotations


Logistics:

  • SOV
  • 2/2 rotation
  • ASAP start
  • Minimum 6 month contract with strong likelihood of extension
  • Day rate, outside IR35

400kV SAP – Offshore Wind Project - ASAP start - Monday to Friday - Day rate, outside IR35 We’re supporting a major offshore wind project currently in the construction phase and are looking for an experienced 400kV Senior Authorised Person to support safe delivery of HV works. 220kV SAPs will be considered This role will focus on managing safe access, coordinating HV interfaces, and supporting early-stage energisation readiness across onshore and offshore assets. Responsibilities: Act as 400kV SAP under project safety rules Prepare, issue, and cancel Safety Documents (PTW, Sanctions, LOA) Manage safe access to HV systems during construction activities Review and approve switching schedules aligned with construction works Interface with TSO, DNO, OFTO, EPC contractors, and site teams Support construction, installation, and pre-commissioning activities Ensure compliance with all HV safety rules and procedures Requirements Proven experience as a 400kV SAP within construction environments Strong background in HV substations / transmission infrastructure Experience working alongside EPC contractors and site teams Familiarity with National Grid or equivalent safety rules Ability to support both onshore and offshore scopes Logistics Day rate, outside IR35 ASAP start Monday to Friday 12 month contract (high chance of extensions) If you’re interested and a competent 220kV/400kV SAP then please send your CV to josie.wade@hunterphilips.com
