Project Manager – Power Generation Overhaul – Power Plant - County Wicklow – Contract (24 Months)


An established energy generation organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major power generation overhaul programme scheduled for 2027.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for safety, programme, cost, and contractor management.
  • Take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from early-stage development and design safety through approval, execution, completion, and handover to operations teams.
  • Lead technical feasibility assessments and definition of overhaul scope and delivery strategy.
  • Manage procurement activities, including preparation of technical specifications, ITTs, tender evaluation, and commercial negotiations in line with agreed procurement strategies.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including operations and maintenance teams, technical specialists, finance, consultants, and contractors to ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Provide regular updates to senior programme leadership, proactively identifying risks, issues, and mitigation measures.
  • Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and contributing to the standardisation of delivery processes.
  • Lead the safe delivery of works on site, ensuring schedule and budget are actively managed and scrutinised throughout execution.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 7+ years experience within the energy sector or a closely related infrastructure environment.
  • Proven track record delivering complex infrastructure or industrial projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder management capability.
  • Demonstrable experience applying structured project management methodologies or equivalent delivery frameworks.
  • Extensive experience managing procurement of services and equipment, including technical specifications and tender processes.
  • Solid understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of project design and construction.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive high-performing project teams.

  • Location: Primary location will be site-based in County Wicklow with occasional office visits in Dublin

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
