Social Management & Community Relations Specialist - Lima, Peru (Hybrid)

The Role:

  • Develop and implement social management and community engagement strategies across projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with peasant communities, agricultural associations, landowners, and local authorities.
  • Manage community expectations, clearly communicating project scope and commitments.
  • Identify, assess, and channel community concerns and claims to internal teams.
  • Anticipate, prevent, and manage social conflicts with legal, environmental, and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with social commitments in environmental permits and impact assessments.
  • Maintain stakeholder maps, social risk assessments, and engagement plans.
  • Prepare structured, executive-level reports for senior management.
  • Support ESG implementation and long-term social sustainability initiatives.


The Person:

  • University degree in Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, Social Sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in social management, community relations, or stakeholder engagement for large-scale projects.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation
  • Familiarity with IFC Performance Standards and ESG frameworks.
  • Experience in renewable energy, mining, infrastructure, or oil & gas.
  • Proven work with rural populations and peasant communities.
  • Knowledge of Peruvian land, community relations, and citizen participation regulations.
  • Conflict prevention, negotiation, and social risk management experience.
  • Fluent English
  • Travel across Peru.

Assistant Site Manager - Solar PV - Solar Farm - Construction - UK - ContractJob Overview:A renewable energy EPC is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the on-site delivery of utility-scale Solar PV project.
