SITE MANAGER (CLIENT SIDE) - CONSTRUCTION - UTILITY SCALE SOLAR PV - RENEWABLE ENERGY (TIPPERARY, IRELAND)


Location: County Tipperary, Ireland

Contract: Freelance / Contract

Duration: 12 Months

Working Arrangement: Site Based – Approx. 4 Days Per Week


The Opportunity

We are looking to speak with experienced Construction Managers interested in supporting the delivery of a large-scale Solar PV project in County Tipperary, Ireland.

The opportunity is with an established renewable energy developer and asset owner with a growing portfolio of Solar PV projects across Ireland. With additional projects expected to move into construction towards the end of 2026 and into 2027, the business is considering adding an experienced contractor to its existing construction delivery team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site activities and contractor performance throughout construction.
  • Manage project delivery against programme, quality and HSE requirements.
  • Coordinate civil and electrical construction activities and associated project interfaces.
  • Monitor construction progress and identify potential programme or delivery risks.
  • Ensure works are being delivered in accordance with approved designs, specifications and project requirements.
  • Manage and resolve construction issues arising throughout project delivery.
  • Provide clear progress reporting and maintain accurate project records.
  • Support the project through construction, completion, commissioning and handover.

Requirements:

  • Prior Construction Management experience within renewable energy
  • Candidates with either a civil or electrical bias will be considered, provided they have experience managing the wider project scope.
  • Strong understanding of construction programme, quality and HSE management.
  • Experience managing EPC contractors or multiple subcontractor interfaces.
  • Able to operate independently and take ownership of site delivery.
