The Company:

A leading investor, developer, and IPP of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Further expansion within a number of markets on a global basis has created the opportunity for a Senior Origination / PPA Manager to support the finances of their existing portfolio of operating assets as well as origination, development, and investment of a pipeline of greenfield projects and M&A.

The Role

The primary focus of the role will be the European market. However, you will be actively supporting other international markets. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Perform high-priority Origination activities in pursuit of a multi-GW pipeline of Utility-scale renewables projects.
• Establish & and manage relationships with financial investors (investment funds, pension funds, other IPPs, insurance companies, etc)
• Assess and optimise route-to-market alternatives for projects across all European markets
• Participation in routes to markets for projects via government auctions and corporate PPAs.
• Develop business cases, modelling and analysis of potential new markets, and preparation of entry strategies
• Provide commercial support to leadership and project development teams
• Leadership, mentoring, and strategic project management opportunities available
• Progression to Head of Origination / Head of New Markets or similar role in 2-3 years, and Vice President within 5 years.

The Person

The successful candidate will likely have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or Engineering
• 2+ years PPA origination experience for Offtake, route to market, or commercial management of Utility-Scale Solar PV, Wind, or Battery Storage
• Experience leading PPA negotiations with C&I organisations, Utilities, and IPPs
• Strong commercial knowledge or modelling capabilities
• Speak English
