Project Manager – Renewable Energy, Melbourne -$Competitive + Career progression Plan   Are you an experienced Project Manager working in renewable energy? Have you been responsible for the delivery of large scale solar or wind farm utility projects with exposure to 10MW+ size within Australia? Have you been responsible for overseeing the project across the full EPC scope? If so, this could be the position for you.   The Company: Our client is a global organisation who develop, construct and operate large scale renewable energy farms. They have now exciting plans for their impressive project portfolio to grow across Australia and already have an impressive project portfolio in place.   Given the company’s growth plans, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join them. You will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of the projects including design, procurement and construction through to operation.   The Role: Some of the duties will include: Oversee the project during design, procurement and the construction phases. Work with the EPC team at a global level to improve procedures and specifications. Setting up and delivery of good practice PM systems and controls. Ensure the detailed design of the PV plant, (including internal and external engineering), is adherent to the state-of-the-art engineering practices including the specific country particularities. As the person accountable for the project during construction phase, you will ensure projects are all delivered on-time, on budget and on-quality (especially but not limited to the right level of Performance Ratio) Ensure all projects are built safely and in accordance with our standards and the local/country HSE requirements. Be the technical lead responsible towards the national auditing bodies and other stakeholders during construction and energization phase. Manage all construction aspects of the project from financial close through to commissioning and completion. Ensure all projects comply with the requirements of the applicable permits and contracts. Lead the claim management strategy during construction, in close coordination with the legal and the EPC team. Lead the finance-accounting-tax controls during construction, in close coordination with the finance team. Lead the regulatory processes during construction, in close coordination with regulatory and grid connection teams. Managing the project handover from construction to operations and Asset Management ensuring early involvement.   The Person: An experienced Project Manager who has worked in the renewable energy sector specifically with solar/PV or wind project experience either in the EPC or client side. Evidence of managing projects including design, procurement and overseeing construction until operational handover. OSS Electrical Engineer – 6 month contract + – Inside IR35 – ASAP start – England and Scotland   I am looking for a OSS Electrical Equipment Engineer who will play a crucial role in delivering the MEQ packages. The role involves overseeing tendering, negotiating contracts, and ensuring technical standards are met. This person will need to be flexible with travelling occasionally to Europe to assist with contract negotiations and project management.   Responsibilities: Scope, tender, and appoint the necessary electrical design activities to establish a robust electrical design basis, appropriate for all stages of project development. Manage the provision of main electrical equipment design data for integration into electrical design studies and related activities, such as offshore and onshore substations. Lead the main electrical equipment package to ensure equipment is properly specified, designed, manufactured, tested, stored, delivered, installed, and commissioned according to project requirements and industry standards. Document all assessments, advice, and recommendations in compliance with internal procedures and industry best practices, ensuring thorough technical and commercial due diligence supports business decisions. Stay informed of the latest technical and commercial developments, identifying new technologies that could reduce costs, mitigate risks, or improve safety. Review contractor and manufacturer documentation to ensure compliance with project and business requirements, negotiating changes with suppliers as needed. Oversee quality assurance/control inspections and witness key tests during equipment manufacturing, including factory acceptance tests as per the inspection and test plan. Ensure the successful installation of all equipment supplied under the Main Electrical Equipment contract. Support the project commissioning team to achieve successful commissioning of all equipment under the Main Electrical Equipment contract. Capture and share lessons learned from offshore wind farm development, construction, and operation across projects. Establish mechanisms for this process and ensure their implementation by the engineering team to enhance business value. Commissioning Engineer - Substation - Renewable Energy – Transmission & Distribution - Ireland – Contract Position Are you someone that has 5+ years Commissioning expertise?
