The Role
As Vice President – Data Center Construction, you will:
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of multiple hyperscale and build-to-suit projects across your assigned U.S. region
- Lead cross-functional construction teams, including project managers, site leads, and technical consultants
- Manage construction schedules, contractor performance, and site-level reporting
- Own project-level P&L oversight, change orders, and executive reporting
- Partner with national leadership, design, and commercial teams to ensure alignment and consistency
- Build strong working relationships with general contractors, trade partners, and commissioning teams
- Enforce safety, quality, and technical standards across all regional builds
- Represent the business externally with key delivery partners and internal stakeholders
The Person
Ideal candidates will bring:
- 10+ years of experience delivering data center or mission-critical construction projects
- Proven ability to lead multi-site programs and regionally distributed teams
- A deep understanding of Tier III/IV data center MEP systems and technical interfaces
- Strong commercial acumen around budget ownership, vendor management, and delivery metrics
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to align teams and navigate complex builds
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
