We are working in partnership with one of the UK&rsquo;s leading utilities who are seeking an experienced 11kV Senior Authorised Person to support ongoing substation and new connection projects across the North of England.

Responsibilities
<ul type="disc">
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Safely manage all high-voltage operations and ensure compliance with safety procedures.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Prepare, issue, and manage safety documentation and permits in line with DNO and client standards.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Carry out HV switching operations on the 11kV network.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Prepare and implement switching schedules and ensure safe energisation/de-energisation processes.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Lead and oversee new grid connections ensuring Safety from the System at all times.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Conduct equipment upgrades including replacement of switchgear and transformers.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Develop and review RAMs for high risk work activities.</li>
<li class="x_MsoNormal">Maintain clear and consistent communication with the control room and site teams.</li>

Requirements

The Role

<li>As Director of Project Development, you will lead and grow a skilled team of project developers, overseeing the progression of a substantial existing pipeline towards ready-to-build status.</li>
<li>The role requires implementing strategies to bring new projects to market while managing relationships with municipalities, landowners, and other key stakeholders.</li>
<li>Lead a team of 10, with responsibility for around 200+ projects.</li>
<li>Drive delivery of at least 1GW of RTB projects and continue to grow the pipeline and execute a strategy.</li>
<li>Collaborate across all areas of project development, from land acquisition to grid connection.</li>

Interconnection Manager – Grid Compliance – Battery Energy Storage – Remote UK with occasional travel – Contract to Nov 2027 – Outside IR35 OverviewWe are currently working with an IPP soon to deliver two large-scale BESS projects in the UK. With the Connection Agreement already secured, you will lead grid-connection delivery and compliance, owning Grid Code/G99, ION/FON readiness and Elexon metering/settlements, while interfacing with NESO/NGESO, SPEN and delivery partners. O&amp;M Engineer / Service Engineer – Operations &amp; Maintenance - BESS (Battery Energy Storage) – England – United Kingdom - Freelance/ Contract We are currently partnering with a leading UK IPP who is looking to expand their O&amp;M team as multiple utility-scale BESS assets transition from construction into operations. We are seeking experienced O&amp;M Engineers to take ownership of day-to-day operations across a portfolio of battery energy storage plants with some co-located with solar. Multiple openings with immediate starts.
