WTG (Wind Turbine) Deputy Package Manager - Major Offshore Wind Project - Offshore, Poland - Hybrid Role (2/3 Days Site/Office Based, 2/3 Days Remote Based) - €Excellent Day Rate + Expenses - 12 Month Contract + Extensions - ASAP Start
I’m supporting a leading offshore wind developer in the search for a Deputy WTG Package Manager to join a major Offshore Wind Project - one of Europe’s most exciting renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in co-managing the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Package, ensuring it’s delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Co-manage all WTG package tasks and responsibilities alongside the Package Manager
- Enforce compliance with project processes, policies, systems, and safety philosophy
- Support progress tracking across scope, schedule, budget, and quality
- Execute all activities with a strong safety-first mindset and HSSE awareness
- Actively support execution of the Turbine Supply Agreement (TSA) and associated deliverables
- Manage and coordinate “secondary” package activities such as energy yield assessment, financial modelling, electrical studies, interfaces with foundations (FOU) and other key packages
- Deputise for the WTG Package Manager when required
- Review and support relevant surveys and technical studies
- Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, regulatory, and project management teams
- Contribute to the development of Employer’s Requirements, design specifications, and technical documentation
- Provide Package inputs for CfD & EU submissions, as well as DevEx, CapEx, and OpEx considerations
- Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement across the project
Requirements:
- MSc, BSc, or other relevant engineering degree
- 3+ years of project experience in offshore wind, onshore wind, or large-scale renewable energy construction projects
- Experience as a WTG Project or Package Manager
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Solid commercial understanding and awareness
- Demonstrated commitment to HSSE and project excellence
