Design Engineer (Manchester)

Design Engineer - BESS/Solar - 12 month contract - Day rate, outside IR35 - ASAP start - Manchester

The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and leading the full design process. You will You will draw new designs and update our current designs. During the creation process, you will ensure that our designs meeting all necessary design responsibilities for the BESS and Solar projects

Responsibilities

·        Draw, update, and maintain designs

·        Manage multiple complex projects

·        Ensure the designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer responsibilities

·        Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time

·        Carry out G99 studies for the client

·        Produce cable route designs for the clients BESS and Solar projects

Requirements:

·        3-5 years experience as a Designer Engineer in industry

·        ETAP experience is desired but not essential

·        AutoCAD experience is essential

·        Must live in or near Manchester

Logistics:

·        12 month contract

·        Day rate, outside IR35

·        Monday - Friday

·        40 hours per week

·        Hybrid role - must be able to go to the offices in Manchester 2-3 times per week
