Senior Construction Project Manager – Renewable Energy

I am working with a fast-growing international renewable energy business to appoint a Senior Construction Project Manager

The Company:

The company is focused on developing, constructing, and operating large-scale onshore wind and solar projects. Their ambition is to become a leading independent power producer, building a portfolio of sustainable assets that contribute meaningfully to the global energy transition.

The Person:

• Degree-qualified in engineering (or equivalent professional experience), with a minimum of 8 years in construction project management, including at least 5 years in utility-scale wind and/or solar.
• Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar EPC/OEM contracts and global procurement activities.
• Strong technical and commercial knowledge, with proficiency in MS Project and related project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages desirable); willingness to travel internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain approval for construction strategies, resources, and governance.
• Lead procurement, tendering, negotiation, and management of major contracts.
• Drive compliance with HSE and quality standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and overall delivery performance.
• Act as Project Director where required, representing projects at senior forums.
• Provide technical and financial input during project development.
• Coordinate across procurement, legal, finance, and operations for seamless execution and handover.
• Oversee site activities, contractor performance, and resolve disputes.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop future construction team members.
