A leading renewable energy developer and Independent Power Producer (IPP) is currently looking to secure a BoP Procurement Manager to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of utility-scale battery energy storage (BESS) and renewable energy projects across Europe. The Company:My client is an international renewable energy investment and asset management business with a strong presence across Europe, managing over 1.5GW of renewable energy assets. The business is active across the full project lifecycle, from investment and development through to construction and long-term asset management, with a strong focus on wind, solar, and battery storage projects. The Role:As BoP Procurement Manager, you would be responsible for:• Leading procurement strategy for Balance of Plant (BoP) packages including transformers, substations, grid connections and related infrastructure (up to €200m spend).• Managing sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract award for BoP and BESS packages, including EPC contractors and OEMs.• Working with project managers, engineers, and legal/technical teams to align procurement with technical and delivery requirements.• Supporting procurement strategy development for utility-scale renewable projects, including potential PV integration.• Managing key supplier relationships to ensure cost control, performance, and delivery across major contracts. The Person:• Experience in procurement, commercial, or project delivery roles within renewable energy or infrastructure.• Strong understanding of BoP scope and utility-scale energy projects.• BESS experience preferred; PV or wider renewables also considered.• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.• English fluency required.
