The Role

As Project Manager, you will take full ownership of technically complex, large-scale customer projects, ensuring flawless execution across cost, schedule, quality, and performance objectives.

Acting as the central point of contact for external customers, consortium partners, and internal business units, you will coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders within a matrix environment. You will guide project teams across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, finance, and legal to ensure safe, efficient, and high-standard delivery throughout the complete project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

·        Cost, schedule and quality responsibility for managing customer projects

·        Central point of contact for customers and consortium partners

·        Coordination of the project-participating departments and functions

·        Coordination, control and tracking of milestones, project deadlines and work packages

·        Leading the project team in a matrix organization

·        Preparation and execution of project and toll gate reviews

·        Coordination and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders

·        Review and clarification of technical and commercial project documentation

·        Support for change, claim and contract amendment issues in coordination with the specialist department.

·        Monitoring of risks, opportunities, project KPIs and financial targets

·        Ensuring the timely completion of projects, as well as commissioning and acceptance testing.

·        Regular project reporting to relevant stakeholders and management.

 

 

Requirements

·        Completed studies in electrical engineering or a related field.

·        Solid, specialist professional experience in project management or project leadership in a technical environment, ideally BESS and/or Rail and/or Hydro projects.

·        Strong ability to work in a structured, analytical and proactive manner.

·        A strong awareness of costs, quality, and deadlines.

·        Strong communication skills, a convincing demeanour, and negotiation skills.

·        Experience in dealing with complex project structures and various stakeholders.

·        Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Project; SAP knowledge is desirable.

·        Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.

·        Willingness to travel and flexibility for project-related assignments at home and abroad.
