Senior Grid Connection Manager

Location: Berlin, Germany


A well-funded renewable energy developer that is continuing to expand its presence across the German market. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Grid Connection Manager to support the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This is an opportunity to join a highly collaborative technical team where you'll take ownership of grid connection activities from early-stage development through to project delivery, working on a significant pipeline of projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage grid connection activities for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate with DSOs/TSOs throughout the connection process.
  • Review technical connection requirements, studies and connection offers.
  • Support the design and optimisation of MV and HV grid connection concepts.
  • Work closely with project development, engineering, construction and external consultants to deliver grid connection solutions.
  • Coordinate external engineering partners and technical service providers.
  • Support technical negotiations relating to grid infrastructure and connection agreements.
  • Provide technical support throughout project development and delivery.


Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience within grid connection, electrical infrastructure or renewable energy projects.
  • Good understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and grid connection processes.
  • Experience working with network operators and external stakeholders is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of German grid codes (e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110/4120) would be beneficial.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent German with a good level of English.

Following recent investment and continued growth across Europe, it is now looking to appoint a Sales Director to lead the next phase of commercial expansion. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can open strategic accounts, build long-term customer relationships and turn complex technical solutions into clear commercial value.
